CSCS Card Overview

Purpose of the CSCS Card
The card proves that the holder has the necessary qualifications, training, and knowledge to work safely and competently in construction. The scheme is regularly updated to reflect industry changes and regulations.

Issuing Authority
CSCS Cards are issued by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) across the UK and are widely accepted by employers to verify worker competence.

Types of CSCS Cards

There are multiple types of CSCS Cards covering different trades, including 13 cards specifically for groundwork-related tasks. Each card has its own eligibility criteria based on the individual’s qualifications and experience.
